Bishop Jeffery D. Thomas, Sr.

Bishop Jeffery D. Thomas, Sr., is the Sr. Pastor of the Mount Rose Church of Dallas, Texas. Bishop Thomas is a dynamic preacher who preaches the uncompromising word of God with a passion for the people he leads. This humble servant leads a congregation of born again believers into a position where they can obtain the spiritual gifts God has promised His children. God has equipped him with the power of the Holy Ghost to stand, proclaim, and deliver the Word of God.
An anointed Man of God, Bishop Thomas received his gift from God at an early age. While under his father’s tutelage at the Greater Ideal Baptist Church Bishop Thomas served in several ministerial capacities. It was during those years that Bishop Thomas received a solid foundation of work ethic, meekness and integrity.
In 1987 his father the late, Dr. L.D. Thomas licensed him to preach the gospel and in 1992 ordained him as pastor and in that same year Bishop Thomas was called to serve as Sr. Pastor of the Mount Rose Church in Dallas, Texas. Bishop Thomas remembers several notable characteristics about his father’s one being having an eternal love for God and His people.
In 2004, Bishop Thomas was ordained as Bishop by the Logos of God Fellowship, Chief Apostle Jesse Smith, and in 2010 Bishop Thomas founded and is currently the presiding Bishop of the United Fellowship of Churches, Inc. Bishop Thomas holds many degrees including at Doctorate in Theology from Word of Life Bible School. Bishop Thomas also travels throughout the nation being about his father’s business perfecting the Body of Christ. Bishop Thomas has 4 children; Kristopher, Krystal, Jeffery Jr and Jaymein and 1 granddaughter; Jersie.
